Cancellations & Returns Policy

Salon Appointments

Should you wish to cancel, we kindly ask for 24 hours notice. Treatments cancelled less than 24 hours before an appointment will incur the full price charge.

To cancel, or amend, a booking with us, please contact the salon direct on 020 8467 8999.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable. Please read full gift vouchers terms here

Cancel Shop Orders

  1. Should you wish to cancel your order:
    • You can notify us by email reception@thehairandbeautyrooms.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you; or
    • Where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 2 below.
  2. You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time in their original packaging, unopened and in good condition, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.
  3. Upon receipt of the goods we will issue you a refund of the amount paid minus shipping (if paid) or an exchange.
  4. The rights to return the goods to us as indicated in clause 3 will not apply in the following circumstances: – in the event that the product has been used or tampered with.
  5. We advise that you inspect the goods before accepting them from the courier as any item that is signed for in good condition will not be refunded if later returned as damaged.
  6. If an item is intended for returned as faulty within 30 days of receipt then contact reception@thehairandbeautyrooms.co.uk who will arrange to have the items collected for repair or replacement. If an item is to be returned after this time period then the customer is responsible for any postage incurred (return to base warranty) to The Hair & Beauty Rooms. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt by The Hair & Beauty Rooms or their agents, and as such The Hair & Beauty Rooms will not be held liable for any loss of items returned. The Hair & Beauty Rooms strongly suggests when returning an item that suitable insurance is taken out to cover the item at an appropriate level i.e. Registered Postage) The provisions of this clause 4 do not affect your statutory rights.

Product Returns Policy

For products that arrived damaged, please contact us immediate and we will offer you a replacement straightaway, and upon return of the original item in it’s original packaging.  We will not

Where possible we have added the ingredient list for products featured on our website.  However, because ingredients are subject to change, we cannot guarantee that these lists are complete, up-to-date and/or error-free. For an accurate listing of ingredients in each product, please refer to your product packaging or visit  the manufacturers website direct.

Cancelling Online Shop Orders

  1. We aim to dispatched products within 24 hours of ordering.  Should you wish to cancel your order, please notify us by email reception@thehairandbeautyrooms.co.uk or via telephone on 020 8467 8999 immediately so we can cancel the order before your goods have been dispatched to you.
  2. In the event that your goods have already been dispatched, we will inform you of this and ask you to follow our Returns Policy below.
  3. Once the order has been cancelled (or items returned as per clause 2) then a full refund will be issued.

Returning Items or Products Replacements

Purchases in salon:

  1. We do not accept returns or refunds on items purchased within our salon, if you have changed your mind, or found items to be cheaper elsewhere. 

  2. If products are found to be faulty, then please contact us immediately to arrange a replacement. Once original items have been returned to us (please reference clause 4 & 5), we will issue you with a replacement product. 

  3. If the product is no longer in stock, then we will offer you an alterative product up to the same value or, to our discretion, a credit in the form of a gift voucher to put toward the cost of another product.

  4. Faulty goods must be returned to us in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt for an exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.  Upon receipt of the goods we will issue you with an exchange.

  5. The rights to return the goods to us as indicated in clause 2 will not apply in the following circumstances: – in the event that the product has been used or tampered with.

  6. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or refund.

Purchases via our online shop:

  1. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

  2. You can return goods you have ordered from our online shop for any reason, in their original packaging, unopened with any labels attached (not removed) and in good condition, within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

    If items are received after the 28 day period, then we may not be able to offer you an exchange or full refund.

  3. The rights to return the goods to us as indicated in clause 2 will not apply in the following circumstances: – in the event that the product has been used or tampered with.

  4. We advise that you inspect the goods before accepting them from the courier as any item that is signed for in good condition will not be refunded if later returned as damaged.

  5. If goods are found to be faulty, then you must contact us immediately, and within 14 dates of receipt of the goods on reception@thehairandbeautyrooms.co.uk or by calling 020 8467 8999, who will arrange to have the items collected for repair or replacement. 

  6. You have 28 days from the date of purchase to return goods to us for an exchange or refund.  If an item is returned after this time then the customer is responsible for any postage incurred (return to base warranty) to The Hair & Beauty Rooms. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt by The Hair & Beauty Rooms or their agents, and as such The Hair & Beauty Rooms will not be held liable for any loss of items returned.   7. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us on 020 8467 8999 to obtain a returns number.

  8. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

  9. If a refund is sought, then we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  
    If  approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, minus shipping (if paid) and at the price the goods were purchased for (i.e. discounted product will not be refunded at full price)
  10. If an exchange is required, this will be dispatched immediately.  If for any reason the product is no longer in stock, we will offer you an alterative product or issue you with a full refund.
