During the 3D Dermaforce treatment, the fine needles create tiny holes in the skin and deliver bi-polar radiofrequency energy through the lower portion of the needle. The gold-plated, insulated needles help to protect the skin’s surface and dermal layer.
The addition of the radiofrequency heats the collagen fibres in the dermis to between 55-65ºC, helping to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Collagen fibres are contracted, stimulating fibroblast activity, resulting in new and healthy collagen cells.

During treatment, a handheld device delivering Radio Frequency energy gently glides over the area. Patients will feel heat on the treatment area, but it is a painless and comfortable experience.
Treatment times typically range from 20-60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
Although results can be seen following a one-off treatment, a course of three treatments is typically recommended for optimal results, with an annual maintenance treatment once per year to every 18 months to maintain results.

Patients are recommended to have a course of 6-8 sessions on a weekly basis.
It is very likely that your skin will have a sunburn-like redness after treatment, Each client’s skin will react differently after treatment. Some may appear redder than others if the client has sensitive skin.
Redness can last for up to 3 days post treatments but usually subsides within 24 hours.
As soon as the session is over, you can immediately resume your daily routine. There is no recuperation period.
We would advise clients to avoid over-exfoliating, or using harsh products on the skin for 1 week.
Clients should also avoid make up for 48 hours and avoid fake tan or sun-beds for at least 5-7 days post treatment.
